Thank you, ~~Eddie, (Dark Blue Knight), for this beautiful award. KACEY'S CORNER
PLEASE RELOAD/REFRESH
Autumn burned brightly, a running flame through the mountains, a torch flung to the trees.
I watch the leaves of autumn tumble gently to the ground They drift oh so quietly-I don't hear a sound
Who would think that destruction and dying are everywhere How could this peaceful season be riddled with despair?
How can my heart keep on beating when so many are stilled How do I justify my living while children are killed
What right do I have to go on day to day When powerful cities are no more When there seems to be so much heartache ~and the ever present war
How do I look at my children and assure them all's well When deep down I know some are living in hell
The crisp air of Autumn replaces summer's haze
but so much of the air is polluted from man's own selfish ways
We live in America-most powerful country on earth
but we ruin it with greed and with
God-awful self-worth.
Is it any wonder that, according to some We're living our last days with judgement soon to come
~Is it a surprise that the longer we live the more we ignore and the less we give ~when what seems important are material things ~
the craving for what the good life brings?
Soon winter's chill will fill the air with snow white blankets everywhere and will there be no more heartache? MAY PEACE BE EVERYWHERE!
