Say your prayers, my little one
-get in your cozy bed
God, in all His goodness
heard every word you said.

These are troubled times we're living in
-but you don't have to fret
just be assured He's watching you
-no worries for you yet

You'll wake up to a brand new day
full of fun and new delights
-a world full of new discoveries
-extraordinary sounds and sights

You play, you rest, you laugh a lot
in your little world
with all your friends and baby dolls
you're a happy little girl

Let the grown-ups worry for the future
-your childhood soon will end
Jesus will take care of you
-you'll find He's your best friend.

So rest well-I wish you sweetest dreams
and with the dawn's new light
a day of laughter, friends and fun
till you talk with God tonight
