God, please bless America
Nurture and protect it
Horrible tragedies can occur
when we least expect it.

With leaders not knowing how to lead
and it seems they couldn't care less
We go from bad to worse each day
and we are in a terrible mess!

Instead of standing tall and strong
our leaders seem to cower
and our enemies, so aware of this
get stronger by the hour

The America I used to know
and of which I am still proud
is slowly losing it's respect
and prayer isn't even allowed

When we have so much to be thankful for
We seem to still want more
Our morals and our principles
should be worth fighting for

Our Soldiers fight, some lose their lives
so that we can all be free
while some leaders scorn the very men
who fight for liberty

We need to take America back
and only You can do it
so I'm asking you to help us out
God Bless America, WE CAN GET THROUGH IT!
