Join me at ice cream socials and weekends at the shore ~have tea with friendly neighbors ~don't bother locking doors
Step into the lovely past and travel back in time ~listen to beautiful voices singing ~songs that actually rhyme!
Watch the smiles and hear the laughter of children allowed to be a child-as children have a right to grow up peacefully
Listen to the singing birds and put those cell-phones down Listen to the night owl with it's soothing, sleepy sound
Forget you ever heard of war ~you're stepping into love the door is always open and God guides you from above
If only for a day or two let your thoughts and mind be quiet I think you'll see the difference Let yourself go-and try it!
Tomorrow you can venture back to harsh reality But for today, just close your eyes and dream along with me.
