Well, for Christmas I decided to shop online this time. I was eager to get started knowing I wouldn't stand in lines I asked my darling family what their requests might be and their answers without question took the life right out of me! The teens all wanted big name stuff with names celebrities love like Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie and Fitch OH HEAVEN'S UP ABOVE! I counted money I had saved and couldn't make the amount So I just reached into my purse (will use my credit card account). This one time it won't hurt I said to myself~(blank look) I'm thinking I'm so lucky cuz Jamie wants a book Oh, but Nanny, in addition I'd really like to see an earring tree I have picked out ~beneath my Christmas tree! Well, Jamie, being out of the ordinary, had picked out a tree unusual It was so high in price I thought I'd have to issue a refusal! Of course I ordered it and smiled at my good thinking The shipping on this little gem made me want to turn to drinking! Little Kacey was yearning for an American Girl Doll So I told her Mom I would surprise I'd love to give her that sweet thing Just to behold her happy eyes I went online to that address and picked out little Jess She was a limited doll, of course I thought, Oh Holy Cow, I'm in a mess! Her face was beautiful, her eyes were blue and I guess I couldn't fight I even got pajamas for her to sleep in every night Then I started shopping for the older kids, you see ~thought, when hubby finds out all of this They'll have to bury me! For the 19 year old, seems she wanted make-up kits. From a store that's called Sephora ~Yep, I went online for it and I sure got it for her~ But I got it, yesiree, and if you think it wasn't expensive Just say thirty dollars, but additional expense was quite extensive! It's crude to really say how much but I got her that and more I decided to check out the sets in Bath and Body store! I got 3 sets for 3 dear kids I could have bought 5 steaks but I just could not let them down and watch those little hearts just break! One teen had requested yoga pants from Victoria's Secret store so back online I went and looked a little more I ordered the pants and while I was there I spotted some lingerie that my 14 year old darling had said she'd love to have someday. Since it wasn't too, too sexy I thought I would go ahead and indulge I checked out the price and oh my stars! My eyes began to bulge! I thought, well, all girls love their jewelry This would be multiplied by six so I picked out lovely bracelets, earrings ~things that you could match and mix! I got them purses, even little Syd She just loves pretty purses so I'm so glad I did! They'll look real good with those clothes that I bought in addition. When I had gone completely in the hole I thought I'd end this mission! By this time, I was delirious Didn't know my name from Adam! Whenever I'd see more pretty things I just screamed "Wow! Lemme at am"!!!! I bought and bought and then the bills all started to arrive Hubby took a peek and told me I would never get out alive! I almost could have hopped a plane to pick up all the stuff ~with shipping that I had to pay I TELL YOU, IT WAS ROUGH! The bill is paid, the debts are gone We pay in full each time I couldn't buy a coke now cuz I just don't have a dime! No dinners out, no brand new clothes, no movie shows or plays My credit card is shredded and I guess that's where it stays! NEXT YEAR, I SHOP THE STORES IN MY TOWN! All rights reserved-Kacey
