This happy little squirrel has left it's nest
-no more winter cold
Just listen to his message
He's full of life and bold
Wake up, all you people
Look out the window at the flowers
Perfumed trees and blooming shrubs
and longer sunshine hours
Buying fresh corn on the cob
and lots of watermelon
Potato salad and fried chicken
just see our bellies swellin'!
Doing
Spring cleaning like Superwoman
washing windows till they shine
Get into shorts and sandals
Leave those winter clothes behind
Time for picnics and playground fun
Napping under a shade tree when we're done
Smell those lilacs, what a delight
Open up those windows tonight!
Spring is my favorite time of year
So get out and enjoy it--YA HEAR????
