Wow! Sydney! What a big girl you are now! A little
a little birdie flew into my part of the woods today and
whispered that you're having a birthday. I'm SO
excited!
Do you know how we celebrate birthdays here
in the
woods? We have a party!
1. The squirrels gather all their nuts
and made a
scrumdillyicious acorn cake.
2. The birds deliver all the invitations.
3. The raccoons gather all the
softest leaves and moss
and prepare the meadow for our guests.
4. The frogs...well, they've been a little hoarse
this
year, but you'd still be surprised how well
they can
croak out a birthday song!
5. The deer offer the very best free rides to anyone
who can't get here on their own.
6. The foxes plan all the games to play.
7. And the skunks... well, yes, even they get an
invitation and they try real hard not to
offend by
wearing their very best perfume and body talc!
I really wish that we could all be there for YOUR
birthday!!
